Quality care

A job you can take pride in

We treat our clients as individuals, not ‘service users’, because they each have a unique life full of family, interests and opinions. Caring for someone is not just about making sure they are clean and safe but helping them feel more human.

Asking for help at home may be the hardest thing they’ve had to do and often it’s not something they’ve done willingly. As a member of our team you help can banish the stigma of care and show that person that you’re there to help, not to take away their control.

Our approach to care

We’re a team

Everyone who works with us is an employee and we don’t use agency staff, which means we’re a close-knit team, all pulling together and helping each other out. We know that small teams work best because you’ll get to know our clients personally and that makes a real difference.

We have local supportive Community Teams to provide the best care for our clients and the best experience for our carers.

Everyone within your small and locally focused Community Team will know each other well, support each other fully and know all your clients as people, not just names.

We’re passionate about making lives better for clients, carers, and our communities and this is just one step we’re taking to put that into practice - to make sure we walk the talk!

Smart scheduling means relaxed visits

To make sure our clients always get their full visits we meticulously plan ahead of time. By building in realistic driving time and allowing a minimum of half an hour per visit, our teams can spend relaxed, quality time with clients without rushing.

Trained and supported teams

Being thrown in at the deep end may work in some jobs but it’s not the way we do things. We have a thorough induction programme which includes manual handling and training, dementia support, shadow shifts and much more so you can feel confident in supporting our clients. You’ll be paid at the full hourly rate for all your training time. We’ll also help you take your Care Certificate.

We’ll continue to support your professional skills throughout your career with us, including access to a range of Health and Social Care courses that you can take at time that suits you

Supporting the community

We work with local charities to reach more people and provide them with care that they would not otherwise be able to access. It’s our way of giving back to the places that support us.
