What will your care and support package cost?

Every client’s needs are different and the cost of care will depend on the frequency and length of the visits needed. But the examples below aim to give you a reasonable indication of the cost of care based on some of the most common regular care plans we provide to our clients.

These costs apply across all the areas we cover in Bath & North East Somerset and West Wiltshire.

Care plans can range from just one visit up to 2 carers visiting four times a day, seven days a week, we can be completely flexible to your needs.

A care plan can start from as little as £26.75 a week if you only want a single visit on a weekday, for instance, to help with some domestic tasks.

A care plan with one carer making 1 visit a day, 7 days a week would cost between £191.79 and £252.15 depending on the length of your visits.

To help make sure you have all the information you need to make a decision, one of our Client Support Managers will meet you for a Support Plan Design visit. At that time, we will discuss the support you want and design a care plan that will ensure your needs are met in the most cost-effective way for you.

How our prices are calculated

We pride ourselves on being an ethical care provider and place emphasis both on ensuring our staff are fairly paid for the work they do while at the same time keeping our prices as low as we can, recognising that the need to pay for care often occurs at difficult times in our clients’ lives.

There are a lot of elements that make up the cost of a care visit including fair pay rates for our staff (we’re accredited with the Living Wage Foundation) and the costs of travel, training and supervision as well as PPE, management costs and other overheads such as regulatory costs (we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission), offices, IT and insurance.

80% of everything we charge goes on paying our team.

How long will you be tied in for?

You won’t be tied in at all.

If you just need a single visit or maybe just a few visits, we’re more than happy to help.

Our regular care plan contracts are also flexible.

We only ask for 48 hours if you need to cancel individual visits (if you go on holiday for instance). If you no longer need our support (and nothing makes us happier than helping a client to become so independent that they don’t need us anymore), we only ask for one week’s notice.

Are mileage costs included?

The prices include the cost of travelling to and from your visit. Where travel is involved in the visit itself (e.g. for shopping visits or outings), this is charged separately.
