Hourly pay rates:

  • Average hourly pay: £13.00

  • Full time pay equivalent: Over £27,000

  • Weekdays (daytime): £12.30

  • Weekdays (evening): £12.90

  • Weekends (daytime): £13.80

  • Weekends (evening): £14.50

  • Plus additional for Bank Holidays

Rates are in place from 1st February 2024.

You’ll be paid the same full hourly rate whether you’re on a visit, waiting, travelling, training or at a work meeting, so you know exactly what is going to be in your pay packet at the end of the month. Plus, we pay for your whole shift, so you’ll no longer need to worry about seeing gaps in your runs and how that might affect what you’re going to be paid.

Guaranteed Pay contracts mean you can be sure that your pay packet won’t fall below a certain level each month.

Shifts:

  • A mix of 7am-3pm and 3pm-10pm including working alternate weekends.

  • Get paid for your full shift, you’ll be paid from the first minute of your first visit right through to the last minute of your last visit in each shift.

  • This is a community-based role, so you will be based in your Community Team’s local areas, but we do support clients across West Wiltshire and Bath & North East Somerset, so you’ll be expected to travel throughout these areas occasionally if required.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting people in your community who need a bit of extra help to continue living happily and safely in their own homes.

2. Includes personal care, supporting with medication, household tasks, accompanying clients to appointments, looking out for their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting them with participating in social activities.

What we require from you:

  • A valid Driver’s Licence.

  • Access to a car you will use for work (you’ll be driving to and from clients' houses).

  • A passion to care and support others.

  • A commitment to working a mix of full shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-10pm.

  • Ability to work on alternate weekends.
