We’ve been making a stance against Carers being undervalued and lacking the respect and recognition they deserve since we set up Abney & Baker in 2015. We want to prove that **a home care company designed to support and reward its care team is the best way to transform the care industry**.

What does #NotJustACarer mean?

Our purpose is to **‘Make Life Better’ for their Carers, Clients, and Communities**. We attract the best, most empathetic, and professional Carers for good reason – we’ve created a Fairer Care experience through building a **supportive and open space** in which **Carers feel they belong and are valued and respected**. Where no one ever feels like they’re ‘Just a Carer’.

The **#NotJustACarer campaign**, sums up our philosophy and reflects our pride in the **positive impact our care team have on other people’s lives every day**. The campaign aims to celebrate Carers and demonstrate that when you work for the right employer all the preconceptions you may have about working in care – such as poor pay, quick path to burnout, lack of support – are busted.
